Airswift is searching for an Offshore Logistics Coordinator to support a major offshore oil & gas development project in Suriname.
This is a long-term rotational assignment supporting offshore drilling and development activities, acting as the key offshore focal point for marine, aviation, personnel, and cargo logistics coordination. The initial contract is for 1 year with strong potential for renewal.
Location:
• Offshore Suriname
• 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation
• 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week during rotation
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate offshore logistics activities in support of drilling and development operations.
• Act as the offshore focal point for marine, aviation, cargo, and personnel logistics.
• Coordinate vessel schedules, helicopter movements, cargo transfers, and logistics priorities.
• Ensure efficient utilization of supply vessels, helicopters, CCUs, and bulk logistics resources.
• Interface daily with Operations, Drilling, HSE, Logistics teams, and Contractors.
• Coordinate loading and discharge operations offshore.
• Maintain and update cargo manifests, logistics records, and material tracking systems.
• Monitor offshore inventory levels and logistics readiness.
• Support safe, compliant, and cost-effective logistics execution.
• Participate in operational and logistics coordination meetings.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore logistics, marine logistics coordination, material management, or offshore support operations.
• Experience supporting drilling, completions, construction, or offshore production operations.
• Strong knowledge of offshore cargo logistics, vessel operations, manifests, and material tracking processes.
• Experience with logistics planning and logistics management systems such as KABAL or equivalent.
• Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
• BOSIET certification preferred.
• Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary offshore teams.
• Fluent English required.
