About the Role
We are looking for a Marine Engineer to start on the 22 September 2026 for an oil and gas operator that’ll be based in an offshore FPSO for a short-term 3 weeks’ contract duration.
The Marine Engineer will provide technical maintenance and utility operations support to the offshore Facility, and other services as required
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test facility equipment and systems.
- Complete maintenance activities, work orders, and accurate MMS records.
- Support plant modifications and changes through approved MOC processes.
- Maintain required competencies and provide training and support to personnel.
- Perform operational support tasks, including first aid, fuel testing/refuelling, and laboratory testing.
- Undertake supervisory responsibilities and other duties as required.
Skills/Requirements
Essential
- TBOSIET/BOSIET/TFOET/FOET
- CA-EBS
- Offshore Medical
- MSIC
- Marine Engineer CoC – AMSA Engineer Class 2 or above
- Gas Test Atmospheres (within 3 years)
- Working at Heights (within 3 years)
- Confined Space Entry / Enter Confined Spaces (within 3 years)
Preferable:
- DG by Air Awareness (current)
- HRWL – Dogging, Rigging and Scaffolding
- FTMO (within 4 years
- Respond to Helideck Incident (within 4 years)
