Job Title:
PC&C Engineer
Duration: September 2026 to May 2028
Schedule: Full-time (Monday-Friday)
Location: Paris, France and Sohar, Oman
This opportunity supports a major LNG project and focuses on office pre-commissioning and commissioning preparation before site mobilisation. The role will contribute to planning, execution readiness and system-based delivery across engineering, procurement and site interfaces, with strong exposure to commissioning schedules, OPERCOM methodology and completion management systems. This position offers the chance to play a key part in achieving safe and effective plant readiness for start-up within a technically demanding EPC environment.
Required Education:
Master’s degree in Engineering.
Required Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning.
Previous experience in a similar or relevant position within the onshore or offshore LNG industry.
Process or operations background with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Preliminary site experience with an understanding of risks, opportunities and simultaneous operations constraints related to site activities.
Required Skills:
Strong capability in organising, planning and managing commissioning activities across different project phases.
Experience developing commissioning sequences, systems lists, boundary drawings, procedures, method statements and operating procedures.
Ability to review and comment on PFDs, P&IDs and discipline drawings to provide commissioning and start-up input.
Knowledge of commissioning planning, budget control, vendor coordination and temporary equipment requirements.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary reviews and interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, ICSS, telecom and completion activities.
Knowledge of completion tools such as Icaps, Easyplant or similar systems.
Proficiency with MS Office, Power BI, PDF or Bluebeam, and 3D model tools.
Fluent English language skills.
Strong leadership, organisation, interpersonal skills and a practical approach to project execution.
Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement in commissioning delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
French language skills.
Familiarity with process simulation tools such as Hysys or Flarenet.
