Monday through Friday, approximately 7am-5pm, on call as needed


Location:

Texas, United States (On-site)

This opportunity is focused on well management engineering supporting remedial workovers and plug and abandonment activity in a fast-paced on-site oil and gas environment. The role offers involvement across planning, execution support, cost tracking, rig scheduling, contractor coordination, and operational troubleshooting, with direct impact on wellwork efficiency and data quality. This position will suit candidates with strong wellwork, operations, and Wellview experience who are comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams and travelling to well locations when required.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university

Required Experience:

  • Direct experience supporting wellwork operations following completion activities, including remedial workovers and plug and abandonment scope

  • Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas experience

  • At least 3 years of direct wellwork experience

  • Experience working with operations, specialist contractors, and suppliers to support rig scheduling, execution, and equipment readiness

  • Experience monitoring daily operational progress, tracking costs, and supporting spend forecasting and budget preparation

Required Skills:

  • Ability to design, plan, and provide engineering execution support for wellwork operations

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to develop procedures and provide design input to artificial lift systems

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in Wellview

  • Ability to track, analyse, and improve wellwork execution efficiency and maintain data quality

  • Willingness to travel to well locations to oversee operations when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Permian wellwork experience

  • Experience working directly for an operator environment

  • Hands-on workover and completions engineering experience

  • Exposure to Spotfire, Power BI, or other analytics tools
