This opportunity sits within the oilfield and pipeline operations environment, supporting field activity with a strong focus on safety, troubleshooting and operational reliability. The role involves pipeline pigging, mobile pump equipment and pipeline cleanouts, with significant travel across assigned asset locations. This position offers the chance to contribute directly to field execution, technical issue resolution and the delivery of timely operational reporting.

Required Experience:

  • Typically 3-5 years of oilfield experience.
  • Experience in pipeline pigging using pig valve systems and conventional launchers and receivers configuration.
  • Ability to perform intermediate pipeline flow troubleshooting tasks.
  • Willingness to travel 60-80% to locations throughout the assigned asset.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to read, interpret and use P&IDs, process flow diagrams, schematics and alignment sheets.
  • Strong field-based leadership of contract crews.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting capability, including working through technical issues with engineering staff and leadership.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise assigned responsibilities and work.
  • Ability to generate field reports and information in an organised and timely manner for analysis.
  • Intermediate computer skills using Pipeline Apps, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word.
  • Intermediate understanding of mobile pump equipment and pipeline cleanouts.
  • Intermediate understanding of flow process and how it affects the pipeline network and associated operational facilities.
  • Availability to respond on-call to emergency situations if required.
  • Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, teamwork and established procedures.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including working in tight spaces, walking up and down stairs and ladders, negotiating uneven surfaces and carrying up to 50 pounds.
