Job Title: Pipeline Operator II
Duration: 12 months (possibility for extension)

Location: Kenedy, TX
This opportunity sits within the oilfield and pipeline operations environment, supporting safe and effective field execution across a distributed asset. The role is focused on pipeline pigging, flow troubleshooting, mobile pump equipment and pipeline cleanouts, with regular travel to operational locations. This position offers the chance to contribute directly to field performance, safety and operational reliability.
Required Experience:
- Typically 3-5 years of oilfield experience.
- Pipeline pigging experience using pig valve and conventional launchers and receivers configuration.
- Experience working across field locations with 60-80% travel throughout the assigned asset.
- Experience generating field reports and operational information in an organised and timely manner.
Required Skills:
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise assigned responsibilities and work.
- Strong field-based leadership of contract crews.
- Ability to read, interpret and use P&IDs, process flow diagrams, schematics and alignment sheets.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting capability, including working through technical issues with engineering staff and leadership.
- Intermediate pipeline flow troubleshooting skills.
- Intermediate understanding of mobile pump equipment and pipeline cleanouts.
- Intermediate understanding of flow processes and their impact on pipeline networks and associated operational facilities.
- Intermediate computer skills using Pipeline Apps, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word.
- Ability to respond on-call to emergency situations where required.
- Commitment to safety, environmental focus, teamwork and compliance with established procedures.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including working in tight spaces, using stairs and ladders, negotiating uneven surfaces and carrying up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required Certifications:
- Valid driver's licence (Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in engineering or another technical field.
