This opportunity supports pipeline operations in an oilfield environment, with a strong focus on safety, field leadership, troubleshooting, and operational reporting. The role involves pipeline pigging, mobile pump equipment, pipeline cleanouts, and interpreting P&IDs, process flow diagrams, schematics, and alignment sheets. This position will suit candidates who can work independently, respond to emergency situations when required, and contribute effectively to safe and efficient field operations.
Required Experience:
Typically 3-5 years of oilfield experience
Pipeline pigging experience using pig valve and conventional launcher and receiver configurations
Experience supporting pipeline flow troubleshooting tasks
Experience providing field-based leadership to contract crews
Experience working across multiple locations with 60-80% travel
Required Skills:
Ability to read, interpret, and use P&IDs, process flow diagrams, schematics, and alignment sheets
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capability, with the ability to work through technical issues with engineering staff and leadership
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assigned responsibilities and work
Intermediate understanding of mobile pump equipment and pipeline cleanouts
Intermediate understanding of flow processes and how they affect pipeline networks and associated operational facilities
Intermediate computer skills using Pipeline Apps, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word
Ability to generate field reports and information in an organized and timely manner
Ability to participate effectively in safety and team operations meetings
Ability to work in tight spaces, use stairs and ladders, negotiate uneven surfaces, and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Availability to respond on-call to emergency situations if required
Required Certifications:
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in engineering or another technical field
