Job Summary
The Construction Piping Supervisor coordinates all construction activities related to Piping discipline, facilitating effective communication between various stakeholders, ensuring they are carried out in compliance with the project HSSE, Quality and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that all construction & commissioning activities of your discipline are carried out at site according to the approved plans, specifications and project schedule, in compliance with HSSE & Quality regulations and standards.
- Supervise the daily operations of discipline at site including workforce management, material handling, and equipment usage and ensuring the site team is working with latest project drawings, specifications and procedures.
- Enforce HSSE protocols and procedures to ensure all construction activities comply with company regulations and standards.
- Coordinate between the construction team, project management, and other stakeholders to resolve issues or conflicts.
- Provide guidance and resolving challenges to achieve seamless transitions and handovers.
- Implement changes to the construction plan or scope, assessing impacts on the project.
- Prepare and submit reports to the project management team, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- CSWIP 3.1, IWI (IIW-S-IIS), AWS QC1, or CWI certification is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction plans.
- Exposure to offshore topsides, modularized facilities, or fabrication yard environments is an advantage.
