Job Title: Planner
Duration: 12 Months renewable contract

This opportunity is with a company operating in the LNG sector and focuses on planning, coordination, and scheduling across routine maintenance, major maintenance, turnarounds, and capital project activities. The role supports safe, efficient, and reliable plant execution by integrating SAP PM, Primavera P6, MS Project, and cross-functional maintenance planning processes. This position offers broad exposure across operations, engineering, supply chain, and project interfaces within a technically demanding industrial environment.
Required Education:
- Grade 12 with a relevant technical diploma
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance and/or project planning experience within the oil and gas industry
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP PM experience in an oil and gas environment
- Practical hands-on craft experience with knowledge of maintenance execution and field activities
- Demonstrated experience planning and scheduling routine maintenance, major maintenance, turnarounds, and capital projects or construction activities
- Experience working effectively across maintenance, production, engineering, HSE, supply chain, and contractor interfaces
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, including the ability to develop, manage, and optimise schedules
- Advanced SAP PM and MM knowledge, including data management, user support, and planning data integrity
- Strong maintenance planning and scheduling capability, including work pack development, task sequencing, labour estimation, materials planning, and resource coordination
- Ability to develop and maintain 7-day, 30-day, annual, and rolling maintenance schedules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage planning reports, backlog, productivity, and performance metrics
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in multicultural, multidisciplinary, and virtual teams
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure operational environment
- Strong planning, organising, and detail management capability
