Job Overview:

This opportunity sits within a major energy and chemicals business supporting maintenance and construction activity in Midland, Texas. The role focuses on planning and scheduling work, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and field teams, and maintaining accurate work order and purchase order data. This position offers the chance to contribute to operational efficiency through work planning, reporting, stakeholder coordination, SAP support, and strong Excel-based analysis.

Required Experience:

  • Experience working in planning, scheduling, maintenance, or construction environments
  • Experience coordinating work activities across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience tracking progress, identifying risks, and supporting reporting activities

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Ability to lead discussions in group settings, including virtual meetings with multiple participants
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to follow-up and coordination
  • Ability to review and validate work notifications for accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to create and manage work orders and purchase orders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oil and gas industry experience
  • SAP experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
