Job Title: Planning and Scheduling Lead III

Duration: 1 year

Schedule: M-F, 60 hours per week.

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico

This opportunity is suited to a project controls professional with strong planning and scheduling expertise in complex engineering or construction environments. The role focuses on integrated project schedules, progress measurement, change management, forecasting, and contractor schedule stewardship, with a strong emphasis on Primavera P6 and schedule analysis. This position offers the chance to support project leadership with critical insight into schedule performance, corrective actions, and recovery planning.

Required Education:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management

Required Experience:

• Experience in project controls, project services, and/or planning and scheduling

• Supervisory experience

• Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules

• Experience reviewing schedule impact related to project changes, corrective actions, and recovery plans

• Experience supporting contractor schedule development, control, and progress measurement

Required Skills:

• Advanced competency in Primavera Project Planner (P6)

• Strong schedule development, control, forecasting, and progress measurement capability

• Ability to analyse schedule trends and support management decision-making

• Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills

• Ability to lead schedule reviews, evaluate baseline and forecast schedules, and assess schedule usefulness, logic, and level of detail

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to multitask and respond quickly to urgent analysis requests

• Adaptability to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior oil and gas industry experience

• Willingness to work overseas in a team environment and relocate to project site as required
