The Role
Airswift’s Paris office is recruiting Process Engineers for an Onshore project.
You will be involved with the execution of technical engineering activities in Process Engineering & Design Development, in accordance with industry best practices, as part of engineering projects and studies for the design of industrial facilities in the sectors which include Energy, Oil & Gas, Chemical and related.  

 Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in defining rules and design criteria for sizing equipment, instruments, and piping.
  • Prepare technical descriptions for Process, Utility, and Support units (e.g. Flares and Storage).
  • Develop and prepare calculation notes for the definition and sizing of equipment, instruments, and piping.
  • Participate in drafting process specifications and process data sheets (PDS) for equipment and instruments.
  • Participate in defining the logic of control and safety systems for the facility.
  • Participate in the development of detailed engineering and process diagrams (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams - P&IDs).
  • Participate in the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
  • Participate in the development of Heat and Material Balances (HMBs).
  • Review, verify, and check documents issued by other engineering disciplines and by suppliers/vendors.

 
Profile

  • Education: Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience: 1-4 years experience within Process Engineering
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (API, ISO, ANSI, etc.).

  • Knowledge of process simulation and calculation software such as Aspen HYSYS or Aveva PRO/II.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in refining process studies
  • Solid experience with P&IDs and process specifications
  • Good understanding of equipment and instrumentation interfaces
  • Software: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Languages: Good command of English (working language)

  • Comfortable working in multidisciplinary project teams
