Airswift is seeking a Procurement Assistant to work on an outsourced contract (2 years), in Suriname, with a major Oil & Gas Company.
Duration: 2-years, rotational 4/4 (4 weeks on/4 weeks off), based on seven (7) worked days per week, with eight (8) hours of work per day
This professional will support the Procurement function and operational departments (Drilling, Wells, Logistics, and Marine & Support Services), ensuring the efficient execution of purchasing activities, inventory management, procurement processes, and SAP system administration.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement Operations Support: Prepare and process call-off orders based on existing contracts.
Assist technical departments in defining procurement strategies for low-risk, low-value requirements.
Prepare and manage simplified and expedited procurement processes.
Draft and administer purchase orders and low-complexity contracts.
Interact with suppliers and contractors to expedite deliveries and service provision.
Support operational readiness by ensuring procurement actions are anticipated and executed on schedule.
Stock and Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and the availability of critical spare parts.
Monitor slow-moving, surplus, and obsolete items.
Ensure the accuracy of inventory records and alignment with SAP data.
Participate in materials planning and warehouse performance reviews.
Support working capital optimization initiatives through inventory management.
Promote compliance with procurement governance guidelines and company delegation of authority requirements.
Maintain standardized procurement documentation, templates, and workflows.
Monitor procurement KPIs and prepare performance reports.
SAP Subject Matter Expert (Procurement and Materials Management): Act as the local unit's point of contact for SAP procurement and materials management activities.
Ensure the correct use of purchasing and inventory management processes within SAP.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Strong knowledge of SAP
Advanced/fluent English required
