Overview
A confidential industrial organisation is strengthening its procurement delivery function to support complex, international projects. We’re hiring a Procurement & Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end procurement execution, expediting, and logistics, ensuring equipment and services are delivered on time, to the required quality, and within budget.
You’ll work closely with Engineering, Quality, Construction, Project Management, and Production to manage supplier performance, reduce risk, and protect delivery commitments.
Key responsibilities
Delivery leadership
- Define and implement delivery strategy across procurement execution, expediting and logistics
- Ensure on-time / in-quality / on-budget delivery of materials and services
- Identify supply chain risks early and drive mitigation plans with project stakeholders
Team management
- Lead and coordinate 2 Project Procurement Buyers
- Drive performance through KPIs, coaching, and continuous improvement
- Build a high-ownership culture with strong process discipline
Supplier & contract execution
- Ensure supplier compliance with contract requirements during execution (with Category Management)
- Support key supplier negotiations and proactively resolve performance issues
- Track supplier production progress, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and delivery milestones
- Prevent supply disruptions through effective expediting, escalation, and recovery planning
Logistics oversight
- Oversee international logistics to optimise transport flows and ensure customs compliance
- Implement mitigation plans for delivery delays and support claims / resolution with suppliers
Cross-functional collaboration
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Construction, PM and Production to ensure alignment and execution readiness
- Report delivery performance and operational feedback through governance forums
Qualifications & requirements
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain / Procurement (or related)
- 10+ years industrial procurement & project execution experience (EPC / large industrial environments)
- Strong expertise in contract execution, expediting, logistics, supplier performance management
- People leadership experience (international / multi-disciplinary teams preferred)
- Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Tools: SAP ERP, MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word), logistics tracking tools
- Languages: Fluent French & English (both required)
