This opportunity supports a complex power generation environment focused on spare parts availability, technical evaluation, and compliance with design requirements and regulatory commitments. The role offers involvement in engineering analysis, procurement specifications, commercial grade dedication, equipment qualification, and resolution of technical procurement issues. This company is seeking an engineering professional who can contribute to operational reliability, quality assurance, and effective work control support.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university; or high school diploma / GED with a PE licence obtained by accredited examination.
Required Experience:
Eight years of engineering experience.
Experience supporting engineering analysis, design, operations, systems, programmes, projects, audits, inspections, or assessments.
Experience working with minimal supervision on complex engineering issues requiring application of codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills:
Ability to verify fit, form, and function of spare parts while maintaining availability in line with design requirements and regulatory commitments.
Capability to prepare technical and quality evaluations for replacement equipment and plant parts.
Ability to evaluate substitutions and revise the design database.
Experience preparing dedication plans for commercial grade items and procurement specifications.
Capability to perform equipment qualification analyses and quality classification of equipment and parts.
Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve technical and quality-related procurement issues.
Strong engineering judgement in evaluating findings, identifying design, quality, or operational issues, and initiating corrective action.
Ability to provide technical leadership, mentoring, training, and support to other engineers and small groups working on complex issues.
Required Certifications:
PE licence obtained by accredited examination (Required only where applying via the high school diploma / GED route).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous work experience as a procurement engineer or procurement specialist.
Previous work experience with digital electrical components.
Preference for onsite working, with openness to remote working for strong candidates.
