Vacancy Overview:
This opportunity sits within a complex, multi-site operational environment and focuses on procurement delivery, strategic sourcing, supplier management and commercial planning. The role will partner with stakeholders across truck services, field operations, construction and maintenance, supply chain, finance and commercial teams to translate business demand into executable procurement plans. This position offers the chance to shape supplier ecosystems, improve operational performance and deliver measurable value through strong commercial judgement, data-driven analysis and cross-functional coordination.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
Required Experience:
Significant experience in procurement delivery, category management, strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management or a comparable commercial role
Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from demand definition through supplier mobilization and value realization
Experience translating business objectives into procurement delivery plans and sourcing priorities within a matrix organisation
Required Skills:
Strong commercial and negotiation capability, including service-based, performance-based or partnership commercial models
Working knowledge of procurement governance, third-party risk, contract management and benefits tracking
Business partnering and stakeholder influence across operational and commercial teams
Demand shaping, procurement planning and cross-functional orchestration
Supplier relationship, governance and performance management
Value identification, performance reporting and data-driven problem solving
Ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities and complex business requirements
Commitment to safety, ethics, compliance and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in truck services, fleet mobility, convenience, construction and maintenance, parts, field services or another multi-site operational environment
Exposure to supplier networks supporting maintenance and repair, parts and consumables, equipment, logistics, technology-enabled services or fleet customers
Professional procurement qualification such as MCIPS, CPSM or equivalent
