Airswift is searching for a Procurement Manager to join a leading international company in the Oil & Gas sector.

 Location: Caracas, Venezuela

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement and supply chain activities supporting oil and gas operations. This role will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of critical materials and services required for field, drilling, production, and corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including sourcing, bidding, evaluation, negotiation, contract award, and supplier performance management.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with local and international suppliers and service providers.
• Ensure cost optimization while maintaining quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Support drilling, production, maintenance, logistics, and capital project activities through effective procurement planning.
• Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions with vendors.
• Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, pricing, and supply risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable local regulations.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Logistics, Engineering, and Management teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Significant experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Contracts Management within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong experience managing suppliers, tenders, contract negotiations, and procurement planning.
• Knowledge of drilling, production, maintenance, or upstream operations procurement processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience working in multicultural and dynamic operating environments.
• Fluency in Spanish and professional English is highly desirable.
