Job Title: Production Engineer - Specialist III
Duration: 1 year, possible to extend
Schedule: 5/40 onsite
Location: Center, TX

This opportunity sits within a technically focused production environment where the role will provide engineering leadership across producing operations, asset support, and technology application. The position offers scope to solve complex well performance and completion design challenges, support operations surveillance, and contribute to maintenance and reliability improvement. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced engineering professional looking to influence technical outcomes across production-stage activities.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Closely related experience in production-stage asset operations and engineering support
  • Domestic US experience
  • Basins experience
  • Experience providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers
  • Experience working effectively with field personnel

Required Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in wellbore hydraulics, well performance, completion design, and workover design
  • Strong technical capability in fluid flow and hydraulics, operations support and surveillance, and surveillance and optimization
  • Knowledge of artificial lift, subsurface equipment, wellheads, trees and surface equipment, and wellwork units
  • Understanding of maintenance and reliability systems
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions in non-routine environments
  • Capability to provide technical leadership and quality assurance across projects and producing operations
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Fluent English communication skills for technical and business use, including reading, writing, and speaking
