This position supports field operations through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities across production equipment and facilities. Role Context
This opportunity sits within the oil and gas industry and is focused on supporting field production operations. The role is based in a field environment and involves coordination with operations and maintenance teams to help keep production facilities running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Support field operations by carrying out routine maintenance on oil and gas production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and assist with repairs to production equipment to help maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Help ensure production facilities operate in line with operational, environmental, and safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs to support field activities.
- Work independently in a field environment while coordinating effectively with operations and maintenance teams.
- Complete basic computer-based data entry and reporting tasks related to field operations.
- Travel between field locations as required by this position.
Qualifications & Experience
- Essential: GED or equivalent.
- Essential: Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Essential: Knowledge of production equipment and field operations.
- Essential: Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Essential: Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Essential: Valid driver's license and ability to travel between field locations.
- Essential: 0-2 years of experience in oil and gas.
