Job Title: Production Tech III
Duration: 6 months initially with possibility of extension
Schedule: 10/3, 5/3; 8-hour days
Location: Goldsmith, TX
This opportunity supports field operations within the oil and gas sector, focusing on the safe and efficient performance of production facilities. The role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment while working closely with operations and maintenance teams. This position offers the chance to apply technical expertise in a field environment where operational reliability, safety standards, and environmental compliance are central to day-to-day work.
Required Education:
- GED or equivalent
Required Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in oil and gas
- Experience supporting field operations in a production environment
- Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of oil and gas production equipment
Required Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of production equipment and field operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs
- Ability to work independently in a field environment
- Effective coordination with operations and maintenance teams
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
Required Certifications:
- Valid driver's licence (Required)
