Job Title: Production Tech III
Duration: 6 months initially with possibility of extension
Schedule: 10/3, 5/3 rotation; 8-hour days
Location: Goldsmith, TX
This opportunity sits within a major oil and gas production environment, supporting safe and efficient field operations across production facilities. The role focuses on routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment while helping maintain compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards. Required Education:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in oil and gas
- Experience supporting field operations in a production environment
- Experience working with oil and gas production equipment and related field operations
Required Skills:
- Needs to be local to the Goldsmith, TX area (50-mile radius max).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability
- Knowledge of production equipment and field operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
- Ability to work independently in a field environment
- Ability to coordinate effectively with operations and maintenance teams
- Understanding of safe, efficient, and compliant operation within operational, environmental, and safety standards
Required Certifications:
- Valid driving licence (Required)
