Position Overview

This Production Technician III opportunity is suited to candidates with strong technical field operations capability in production environments. The Production Technician III will focus on safe and efficient well and pad production, supporting operational performance across assigned routes while maintaining high site standards. This Production Technician III position offers the chance to work across a broad range of production equipment and contribute directly to daily production performance, troubleshooting and field reliability. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate wells and pads on the assigned route, with a focus on maintaining production performance and identifying production variance.
  • Develop and carry out step-by-step troubleshooting actions to restore underperforming wells and pads to target production levels.
  • Review production volumes, monitor performance issues and escalate technical concerns where required.
  • Complete site inspections and plunger inspections in line with operational expectations and support accurate operational verification activities.
  • Maintain correct downtime and deferment coding, ensuring updates and comments are recorded following field activity.
  • Provide field support where additional work is required on site and help coordinate follow-on activity with relevant disciplines.
  • Communicate operational handovers and key daily actions clearly to support continuity across field operations.
  • Support good site standards through housekeeping, signage checks and identification of areas requiring additional work.
  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of field equipment including wellheads, separators, heater treaters, compressors, scrubbers, chemical systems, air compressors, control valves and associated production facilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong practical knowledge of well and pad production operations in a field-based environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting production performance issues and supporting the safe return of wells or facilities to normal operation.
  • Understanding of plunger lift wells, gas lift wells, free-flowing wells and wellhead compression fundamentals.
  • Ability to perform inspections, support operational verification activities and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Experience working across production equipment such as coolers, separators, heater treaters, compressors, scrubbers, chemical systems and fuel gas systems.
  • Commitment to safe working practices, task planning and site standards in an operational field environment.
