Vacancy Overview:
This opportunity is with a well-established engineering and construction company delivering services for heavy industrial industries across the United States. The role is focused on leading project controls activity on site, with responsibility for cost control, forecasting, labour progress reporting and change management. This position offers the chance to support a complex project environment while working closely with project teams and overseeing project controls staff.
Required Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in project cost controls.
Advanced Excel.
Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Data Center background.
Experience overseeing project controls staff, including scheduling support and teams involved in work package development and progress tracking.
Experience producing weekly cost reports, labour progress reports and performance reporting for project delivery.
Experience supporting forecasting, change management, contingency management and cost impact mitigation within a project environment.
Required Skills:
Thorough working knowledge of scheduling and costing principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of earned value management systems.
Ability to develop and maintain project cost tracking, labour reporting and budget progress tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
