Project Controls Specialist

  • 12-Month Casual Contract (likely to extend)

Join a major gold mining project and play a key role in driving project performance through effective planning, cost control, forecasting, and reporting.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist with a broad project controls skillset to support project delivery and provide accurate performance insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project
  • Monitor and analyse project costs, progress, and performance
  • Prepare project reports, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Support project governance, change management, and risk processes
  • Provide schedule and cost insights to support project decision-making
  • Ensure project controls data is accurate and up to date

About You

  • Proven experience in Project Controls on major projects
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project
  • Strong capability across planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and reporting
  • Experience tracking project performance against established baselines
  • Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • Mining, resources, or major projects experience highly regarded

This is not a Planner position. We are specifically seeking candidates with a well-rounded Project Controls background who have experience across planning, cost management, reporting, forecasting, and project performance monitoring.
