About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Engineer to support the delivery of manufacturing and fabrication projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience across project coordination, technical documentation, and quality compliance.

You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, meet regulatory requirements, and align with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) in line with project and Australian Standards
  • Compile Manufacturing Data Reports (MDRs), including certifications and compliance documentation
  • Manage document control, revisions, and project traceability
  • Develop and track project schedules, monitoring progress and reporting variances
  • Coordinate procurement, fabrication, inspection, and delivery milestones
  • Support risk management, change control, and cost tracking activities

What you'll need to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline is required
  • 2–3 years' experience in manufacturing, fabrication, mining, or similar industries
  • Exposure to Australian Standards (e.g. AS/NZS 1554, AS 3992, AS 1210) advantageous
  • Experience with project scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project) preferred
  • Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills
