Job Title: Project HSSE Manager

Location: Monaco, Monaco
An excellent opportunity is available to support a major FPSO project within a project management team environment. This position plays a key role in health, safety, security and environmental leadership across project delivery, with responsibility for HSSE plans, risk assessments, emergency response planning and stakeholder interaction in an Oil & Gas setting. The role offers exposure to construction, offshore support and installation-related activities, with the chance to contribute to safe project completion.
Required Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Strong HSSE experience within the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience working in a project environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Background in construction site management
- Experience supporting major project HSSE activities, including preparation of plans, deliverables and risk assessments
- Experience in offshore hook-up and commissioning environments
Required Skills:
- Preparation and management of HSSE plans and deliverables
- Emergency response planning and incident management
- Risk assessment and hazard identification
- Internal and external safety auditing
- Accident and incident investigation, including Tripod Beta methodology
- Working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems
- Knowledge of environmental discharges, HEMP, industrial hygiene, radiological safety, gas dispersion modelling and explosion indices
- Ability to provide HSSE support to project teams and client-facing stakeholders
- Familiarity with HAZOP and HAZID activities
- Monitoring performance and compliance within an Oil & Gas project setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional professional qualifications in HSSE and Fire & Safety Management Systems
- Offshore and installation support experience
- Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
- Ability to work from Rotterdam with business travel as required
