This opportunity offers the chance to lead project development across conceptual design, feasibility, engineering and execution within an industrial manufacturing environment. The role is focused on delivering clear project pathways, supporting sustainability projects, and acting as a technical resource through execution, commissioning and start-up. This position will suit professionals with strong project management capability, cross-discipline engineering understanding, and experience working in petrochemical plants, refineries, or similar industrial settings.



Required Experience:

  • 5–10+ years of relevant project experience in industrial environments.

  • Industrial experience within petrochemical plants, refineries, manufacturing environments, or similar settings.

  • Experience owning conceptual design, feasibility, engineering, execution, and basic engineering phases of projects.

  • Experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders and leading project teams to achieve conceptual design objectives.

  • Experience acting as a discipline subject matter resource through project execution, commissioning, start-up, operation, and evaluation phases.

  • Experience preparing technical evaluations, participating in risk analysis, and completing economic evaluations.

Required Skills:

  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of project management processes.

  • Ability to develop and implement project documentation required for progression through project development phases, including equipment data, engineering documents, stage gate documentation, and meeting minutes.

  • Strong strategic thinking with excellent PowerPoint skills to support monthly project progress presentations and funding approval requests.

  • Understanding and familiarity with all engineering disciplines.

  • Ability to handle large and varied workloads with strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to read P&IDs, ISOs, and equipment specifications.

  • Strong commitment to site safety culture, including participation in daily safety meetings, job task observations, hazard identification, hazard recognition reporting, and toolbox meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSc in Engineering of any discipline, Project Management, Business, or a related field.

  • Prior project experience in building cold refrigerated ammonia tanks.
