Position Overview:
This opportunity supports a strategic capital fuel cycle extension program within the utility sector, focused on engineering analysis and licensing activities. The role offers involvement in technically complex project delivery, with exposure to project management, scheduling, cost controls, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. This position would suit candidates with experience in utility projects, construction management, and engineering-led programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support engineering analysis and licensing activities related to a strategic capital fuel cycle extension program.
- Apply project management principles across technically complex project work.
- Work with individuals across multiple organizational levels, from individual contributors to senior department leadership and executive management.
- Contribute to project-related scheduling and cost controls.
- Help coordinate delivery across engineering and project stakeholders within a utility project environment.
Required Skills:
- Essential: Proficiency in project management principles.
- Essential: Ability to build effective working relationships across a range of organizational levels
- Desirable: Working knowledge to proficiency in project-related scheduling and cost controls.
- Desirable: Knowledge in construction management.
Education/Experience:
- Essential: Graduation from a four-year college or university.
- Essential: Minimum of 9 years of project management experience, OR 5 years of project management experience with a Bachelor’s Engineering degree.
- Desirable: Working knowledge to proficiency in project-related scheduling and cost controls.
- Desirable: Experience in the utility industry.
- Desirable: Knowledge in construction management.
- Desirable: Master’s degree in business, project management, or equivalent.
- Desirable: PMP or CAPM certification.
- Desirable: CMII or construction certifications.
- Desirable: Professional Engineer license.
