Airswift is looking for a Project Manager to work on a permanent contract in Suriname,
with a company providing industrial construction, maintenance, and equipment rental services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and mobilization strategies.
Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, QA/QC, HSE, logistics, and commissioning activities.
Manage multidisciplinary project teams, including supervisors, engineers, planners, QA/QC and HSE professionals, construction crews, subcontractors, and support staff.
Ensure all activities are executed safely and in compliance with CCC Group HSE requirements, client specifications, applicable legislation, and industry standards.
Monitor the project schedule, productivity, labor and equipment utilization, costs, commitments, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
Take responsibility for project cost control and the preservation of the planned project margin.
Identify potential schedule delays, budget overruns, technical issues, contractual risks, and operational constraints, implementing appropriate corrective actions.
Analyze project scope, specifications, drawings, contracts, purchase orders, and other technical and commercial documentation.
Ensure that additional work is properly identified, documented, budgeted, approved, and incorporated into project forecasts.
Conduct periodic project review meetings and prepare accurate progress reports for both internal use and the client.
Ensure the proper implementation of quality planning, inspections, testing, documentation, and final handover (turnover) requirements.
Lead project closeout, including final documentation, commercial reconciliation, recording lessons learned, and handover to the client.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Higher education degree and English proficiency required.
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
Experience executing projects for clients in the oil & gas, energy, mining, or industrial sectors.
Experience with multidisciplinary construction scopes or activities such as mechanical work, piping, structural steel, fabrication, equipment installation, electrical & instrumentation (E&I), and commissioning.
Experience managing projects in accordance with international engineering and construction standards.
Experience with project cost forecasting, progress measurement (earned value), productivity measurement, and change management.
