This opportunity sits within a well-established public power and clean energy environment focused on safe, reliable and cost-effective power generation and energy solutions. The role will lead project planning, coordination and execution with a strong emphasis on cost estimating, financial analysis, budget control and project delivery. This position offers the chance to work across project teams, supporting forecasting, procurement, vendor management and stakeholder collaboration in a technically focused utility setting.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years of progressively responsible project management or professional-level experience in an electric public utility or equivalent environment.

  • OR Associate degree from an accredited college or university and three years of progressively responsible project management or professional-level experience in an electric public utility or equivalent environment.

  • OR high school diploma or GED and five years of progressively responsible project management or professional-level experience in an electric public utility or equivalent environment.

Required Experience:

  • Progressively responsible project management or professional-level experience within an electric public utility or a comparable environment such as a government agency or utility-related organisation.

  • Experience developing and maintaining project estimates, budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Experience in cost analysis, value engineering and risk assessment to support project decision-making.

  • Experience preparing scopes of work, schedule projections and resource plans.

  • Experience managing vendor contracts, change orders and procurement activities with strong financial oversight.

  • Experience leading and directing project teams across projects of varying size.

Required Skills:

  • Strong background in estimating, financial analysis or cost engineering.

  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies and best practices.

  • Ability to interpret budgets, forecasts, cost models and financial data.

  • Proficiency with project management and estimating software.

  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors and project teams.

Required Certifications:

  • Project Management certification (Required for Levels II-III).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMI Project Management Professional Certification (Preferred).
