This opportunity offers involvement in maintenance capital projects within a gas transmission environment, with responsibility for technical oversight, project execution, and on-site commissioning support. The role works closely with operations and technical staff to optimise facilities for reliable operation and cost-effective installation. This position also supports project risk identification, stakeholder communication, and coordination with external agencies across the project lifecycle.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Required Experience:

  • 7–10 years of experience in gas transmission or a related field

  • Experience supporting maintenance capital projects from development through implementation and completion

  • Experience working with area operations and operations technical staff to optimise facilities

  • Experience interacting with external agencies in relation to project development, technical responses, certification filings, and project reporting

  • Experience overseeing multiple projects within a technical or engineering environment

Required Skills:

  • Technical oversight of maintenance capital projects

  • Cost and budget estimating

  • Preparation of material bid specifications

  • Technical support during construction and on-site commissioning

  • Ability to identify project risks, exposures, and opportunities that may affect project success

  • Strong judgement with technically accurate and feasible decision-making

  • Ability to facilitate communication channels and produce status and project health reports for management

  • Contribution to project execution strategy, contractor selection, and performance evaluation

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects

  • High-quality oral communication and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in compliance with company policies, procedures, SOPs, O&M manuals, and external regulatory requirements including DOT and EPA

  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
