Senior Consultant / Project Manager – Ports & Marine
Location: Doha, Qatar
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage studies and projects within the Ports & Marine service line.
- Act as a Senior Consultant in the delivery of Port Consulting and Engineering Services.
- Ensure technical quality through the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancement across projects.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, data gathering activities, and technical evaluations relevant to assigned work.
- Participate in design reviews and provide advice on technical design, drafting issues, and compliance requirements.
- Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Maintain project cost and quality control in accordance with established project management procedures and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Preferably 15+ years of relevant experience (minimum 10 years) within the Ports & Marine Engineering industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Project Manager capacity.
- Bachelor's Degree (Honours) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional accreditation preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong project management capabilities, with relevant certifications being an advantage.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East region.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects successfully.
