This opportunity supports a major power generation project, coordinating post-award procurement execution across supplier expediting, logistics, inspection, customs, material delivery, and documentation. The role sits within a complex heavy industrial environment where close alignment across engineering, quality, construction, warehouse, commissioning, and operations is critical. This position offers the chance to drive visibility, reduce supply chain risk, and support project schedule performance through detailed reporting and proactive issue resolution.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in procurement coordination, expediting, logistics, materials management, supplier quality coordination, or a related project supply chain discipline
  • Hands-on experience tracking purchase orders, supplier manufacturing progress, inspections, shipments, and material deliveries
  • Experience resolving over, short and damaged material issues and coordinating with suppliers, carriers, freight providers, customs brokers, or site receiving teams
  • Experience supporting project procurement execution from purchase order award through manufacture, inspection, shipment, delivery, documentation completion, and closeout

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of project procurement execution, supplier expediting, logistics, material receiving, and supply chain coordination
  • Working knowledge of domestic and international transportation, shipping documentation, customs clearance, tariffs, duties, and freight claims
  • Understanding of inspection coordination, supplier quality records, nonconformance follow-up, and release-to-ship requirements
  • Ability to coordinate transportation planning, shipment tracking, delivery sequencing, and receiving readiness across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organisation, schedule coordination, data management, reporting, and problem-solving capability in a fast-paced project environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, quality personnel, and project teams
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Experience supporting major capital projects, power generation, LNG, EPC, construction, or other heavy industrial environments
  • Understanding of owner-furnished equipment, EPC project interfaces, construction sequencing, and material-management practices
  • Experience working with procurement or ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, GEP, Coupa, or JDE
  • Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and relevant certifications may also be considered
