Airswift is seeking for QAQC Engineer (Piping) to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- IRCA Certified QMS Lead Auditor.
Senior Welding Inspector Certification:
- CSWIP 3.2 or AWS-SCWI
Painting Inspector Certification:
- BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2
NDT Level 2 Certification in:
- RT, MT, UT, and PT (ASNT/ACCP or equivalent international certifications)
Preferred / Advantageous Qualifications
- IIW Welding Engineer Certification.
- NDT Level 3 Certification.
Advanced NDT Certifications:
- PAUT
- TOFD
- AutoUT
Professional memberships such as:
- ASNT
- AWS
- TWI
- NACE
- ASQ-CMQ/OE
- MCQI-CQP
Required Experience
- Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas construction projects.
Experience in:
- Refineries
- LNG/NGL Plants
- Petrochemical Complexes
- Greenfield and Brownfield Projects
- Previous experience with major EPIC Contractors or End Users.
Strong background in:
- Process Piping Systems
- Construction & Commissioning Quality Management
- Inspection and Testing Activities
- Quality Surveillance Programs
- CMS, TIV, FPD, PQHC implementation
Technical Expertise Required
Strong knowledge of:

- Managing QA/QC inspectors and engineers.

- Resolving complex technical disputes and quality issues.
- Working effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
A highly experienced QA/QC professional with 15+ years in major Oil & Gas EPC projects, possessing strong expertise in piping construction, welding, NDT, coatings inspection, quality management systems, auditing, and construction commissioning, with proven leadership experience managing large inspection teams and ensuring compliance with international standards and COMPANY quality requirements.
