Overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced Rail Delivery Planning Manager to join a major rail infrastructure project in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a high-profile rail program that forms part of Queensland's long-term transport infrastructure investment leading into 2032.

Working closely with engineering, construction, commissioning and access teams, you will develop integrated delivery plans, coordinate work sequencing and ensure activities are aligned to possession and access requirements. It’s likely you will have worked in Rail Planning, Integration Management, Readiness Management or similar roles before.

Location-             Brisbane, QLD

Duration-             Permanent, Full-time

Salary-              $180,000 - $200,000 + Super

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and coordination of rail delivery activities across multiple disciplines

  • Develop staging and sequencing strategies for works in a live rail environment

  • Coordinate project activities within possession windows and access constraints

  • Monitor project readiness and support Go/No-Go decisions for key delivery milestones

  • Identify and manage delivery risks, interfaces and dependencies

  • Assess changes to staging, possessions and delivery plans

  • Provide clear reporting and planning advice to project leadership

Required Experience

  • Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience delivering major rail infrastructure projects
  • Strong background in staging, sequencing and delivery planning
  • Knowledge of rail possessions, access planning and brownfield rail delivery
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar planning tools
  • Strong stakeholder management - must be able to communicate with a range of people across different disciplines
  • Australian working rights (Citizen, Permanent Resident or valid work visa).
