Readiness & Compliance Lead

Perth, WA | 6-Month Initial Contract | Immediate Project Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Readiness & Compliance Lead to join a major infrastructure and project development team supporting a large-scale technology and facilities project currently progressing through approvals and development phases.

This is a critical enabling role responsible for ensuring project readiness, governance, compliance and obligation management requirements are effectively managed to support successful project progression through key stage gates and approvals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain project obligations, compliance requirements and governance deliverables.
  • Support statutory approvals, land access conditions and management requirements.
  • Coordinate and track project deliverables required to progress through project phases.
  • Support key project stakeholders with readiness and compliance activities.
  • Review engineering drawings, management plans and approval-related documentation.
  • Coordinate and manage specialist consultants delivering approval and compliance work packages.
  • Work closely with project schedulers, risk practitioners and project managers to ensure obligations and commitments are effectively managed.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement across multiple project disciplines.

About You

  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, resources, energy, technology or major capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, compliance and obligation management.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting projects through development, approvals and investment decision stages.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with project schedules, risks and project controls, although formal scheduling experience is not required.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to statutory approvals, environmental compliance, land access or regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management systems.
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6.
  • Experience using compliance or obligation management systems.
