Regulatory & External Affairs Manager-Renewable Energy

About the Role
A leading renewable energy developer is seeking a Regulatory & External Affairs Manager to support its utility-scale Solar, Wind, and BESS projects in the Philippines.
This role will lead regulatory approvals, permitting activities, and stakeholder engagement with key government agencies and industry organizations to ensure successful project development and commercial operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regulatory approval and compliance activities for renewable energy projects.
- Manage relationships with DOE, ERC, NGCP, IEMOP, LGUs, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Support grid interconnection, market registration, and permitting processes.
- Monitor regulatory and policy developments impacting the power sector.
- Prepare regulatory submissions, position papers, and management briefings.
- Represent the company in industry consultations and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the Philippine power or energy sector.
- Background in Regulatory Affairs, Government Relations, Project Development, Energy Law, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of Philippine energy regulations and permitting processes.
- Experience working with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Established network within the Philippine energy industry.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and Tagalog.
