This opportunity is suited to an engineering professional with strong expertise in maintenance, reliability, asset care strategy, and continuous improvement within an industrial environment. The role focuses on improving equipment performance, supporting failure investigations, and driving the adoption of maintenance and reliability best practices. This position offers the chance to work across a technically demanding operating environment with travel involved and meaningful exposure to cross-functional stakeholders.
Required Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
Required Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of industrial experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Reliability Engineer
Strong background and broad-based experience in maintenance, reliability, or engineering
Experience supporting equipment performance improvement and resolving chronic equipment issues
Experience leading equipment failure investigations using structured analytical methods
Experience working with manufacturing, engineering, and technical stakeholders in an industrial setting
Required Skills:
Practical knowledge of current maintenance and reliability best practices
Knowledge of condition monitoring technologies
Ability to design or modify asset care strategies and procedures using risk-based methods, RCM, and FMEA
Root cause analysis and 5-Why problem-solving capability
Ability to provide technical guidance in precision repair, maintenance, and equipment installation
Ability to interpret financial and non-financial data and explain the economic impact of significant decisions
Ability to support continuous improvement efforts across production, technical, and engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Process Safety Management experience
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
