This opportunity is based in Bentonville, Arkansas and focuses on leading strategic retail supply chain activity across large, high-impact customer accounts within a refinery and chemical complex business. The role is designed to drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth through supply chain strategy, inventory optimisation, order fulfilment, transportation performance, and cross-functional collaboration. This position will work closely with sales, operations, logistics, and manufacturing teams while supporting customer-facing supply chain initiatives in a complex retail environment.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
Required Experience:
7+ years of experience in supply chain management with an emphasis on strategic customer accounts
Proven experience managing complex supply chain operations across customer-facing environments
Experience managing service-level expectations and supporting large strategic accounts
Required Skills:
Ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies tailored to strategic customer accounts
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across sales, operations, logistics, and manufacturing
Strong analytical capability with the ability to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities from supply chain data
Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
Proficiency with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Ability to monitor and optimise inventory levels, order fulfilment, and transportation performance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
Ability to lead customer-facing meetings, resolve issues, and align on future initiatives
Willingness to travel in support of customer engagements and operational reviews
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the retail or consumer goods industry
Familiarity with EDI and API integration
Strong presentation and storytelling skills
Ability to influence outcomes and drive alignment across teams without formal authority
Strategic thinking combined with strong analytical problem-solving capability
Ability to prioritise effectively in ambiguous or fast-changing environments
Proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement
Familiarity with diverse product categories and retail environments
