Job Title:
Rotating Equipment Engineer
Duration: 6 months’ renewable
Schedule: Full-time (Monday-Friday)
Location: Ile-de-France, France
This opportunity focuses on rotating equipment engineering within EPC and FEED project environments, supporting the preparation of technical documentation and supplier evaluation activities. The role offers involvement across specifications, datasheets, requests for quotation, technical bid tabulation and vendor document review, with exposure to testing activities and occasional travel. This position will suit candidates with strong knowledge of compressors, pumps, gas turbines and steam turbines, combined with experience working to API standards in a technically demanding project setting.
Required Experience:
Proven practical experience in rotating machinery engineering.
Experience working on EPC contracts, FEED contracts, or EPC proposals.
Experience preparing specifications, datasheets, and requests for quotation for discipline equipment.
Experience reviewing supplier offers, leading clarification activities, and preparing technical bid tabulations.
Experience reviewing and commenting on vendor documentation and participating in testing activities.
Required Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, pumps, gas turbines, and steam turbines.
Thorough knowledge and application of API 617 and API 616 standards.
Ability to work in accordance with contractual requirements and project schedules.
Ability to provide clear technical reporting to project stakeholders.
English language capability for communication with suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Offshore experience or offshore knowledge.
French language capability.
