Job Title: Rotating Equipment Engineer
Duration: September 2026 to 28 February 2028

This opportunity supports a major detail design EPC project focused on water handling infrastructure within the oil and gas sector. The role is centred on engineering design and coordination for mechanical rotating equipment, with involvement across technical review, vendor documentation and project delivery activities. This position offers the chance to contribute to a large-scale international development where rotating equipment expertise, risk management and schedule oversight are central to project success.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in an Engineering discipline

Required Experience:

  • 10-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry on petrochemical projects
  • Significant field and/or project management experience on major international projects in oil and gas, cogeneration/combined-cycle, utilities and industrial buildings and facilities
  • Experience reviewing and managing FEED/EPC package scope of work
  • Experience reviewing technical bids, vendor documentation, design drawings and data sheets for rotating equipment and auxiliary equipment

Required Skills:

  • Strong engineering design and coordination capability for mechanical rotating equipment
  • Good working knowledge of relevant standards and procedures used within major energy projects, including international standards
  • Ability to manage technical workshare for mechanical drawings
  • Ability to identify and help avoid scope changes within rotating equipment supply
  • Risk management capability for rotating equipment purchase orders, including development of mitigation plans
  • Ability to support change orders by coordinating technical documentation and vendor quotation input
  • Ability to manage rotating equipment delivery schedules, including delivery, installation and erection milestones
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong planning, organisation, analytical problem-solving and open communication skills
  • Commitment to safety and effective application of technical knowledge
