Ensure delivery of the Engineering Dossier with a robust Safety Engineering definition and a fit?for?purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, commissioned, and operated safely, in compliance with the project Basis of Design, Scope of Requirements, project standards, and applicable regulations.
Ensure and coordinate the proper realization of the technical Safety design in compliance with project specifications, procedures, schedule, required quality level, and safety objectives.
Review and validate environment and safety
?related studies performed by EPSCC Contractors and/or third
?party consultants to identify major hazards and ensure risks are reduced to ALARP, including but not limited to Fire and Explosion Risk Analysis, Formal Safety Assessment, Safety Critical Elements identification and performance standards, Escape, Evacuation and Rescue analysis, gas dispersion, radiation, and explosion overpressure studies.
Promote design optimization and cost?saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with project schedule, contractual requirements, and technical integrity, in close coordination with the Engineering Coordinator.
Identify Safety Engineering technical decisions requiring resolution, define clear recommendations and execution paths, and report outcomes to the Engineering Coordinator.
Contribute to the identification and specification of Lessons Learned Items and ensure their effective integration into the design.
Professional Experience (years): 15+ years in Oil and Gas projects
Experience in similar position (years): 10+ years at same or equivalent position with managerial responsibilities
Level / Diploma: Engineer, Master of science
Languages: English mandatory
Onshore field experience required
