Airswift is supporting a leading international O&G operator company in the search for a Sampling, Analysis & Analyzer Technician/Engineer to join its Fiscal Metering team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
This role focuses on hydrocarbon sampling, laboratory analysis, and online analyzer systems, supporting reliable measurement, data quality, and operational decision-making across production facilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain sampling and analysis practices for assigned process streams.
• Support the readiness, maintenance, and performance monitoring of sampling and analyzer systems.
• Review analytical results and assist in the investigation of inconsistencies or recurring issues.
• Coordinate technical activities with laboratories, suppliers, and service providers.
• Maintain procedures and records that support safe, consistent, and traceable operations.
• Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and technical teams to ensure reliable analytical services.
Requirements
? Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Instrumentation, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
? Experience with hydrocarbon sampling, laboratory analysis, process analyzers, or related measurement systems.
? Ability to interpret technical drawings, procedures, certificates, and laboratory reports.
? Professional proficiency in Portuguese and working knowledge of English.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the oil & gas industry or a comparable process industry.
• Familiarity with online analyzers, sampling systems, or laboratory service contracts.
