Senior Civil Engineer

Perth, WA | 12-month contract

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a major infrastructure and energy project. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a large-scale development while working within a collaborative and high-performing project environment.

About the Role

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and leadership across the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure works. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead civil engineering design and project delivery activities.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and engineering calculations.
  • Manage and perform the design and analysis of civil engineering designs, including site development, pavement design and drainage systems.
  • Prepare and review detailed civil engineering designs including bulk earthworks, access roads, drainage systems and site development works.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in infrastructure, mining, energy, resources, or heavy industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and Australian standards.
  • Experience in renewable energy projects, particularly utility-scale solar and wind developments
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
