Senior Electrical Engineer
Provide senior level electrical engineering expertise during EPC, commissioning, start up, and handover phases of major projects. Ensure that all electrical systems and deliverables meet operational requirements for safety, operability, reliability, availability, maintainability, and cybersecurity throughout the asset lifecycle.
Qualifications (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in an oil and gas.
- Exposure to EPC projects, commissioning, start up, and operational support
Key Accountabilities:

Provide electrical engineering support including:
- Design reviews
- Commissioning and start up support
- Failure analysis and advanced troubleshooting
- Punch list and warranty claim resolution
- Management of Change (MoC) activities
- Support the development and implementation of surveillance and administration programs for critical electrical systems to achieve high reliability, availability, and cybersecurity standards.
- Support or lead the definition and implementation of electrical integrity programs to ensure safety, reliability, and asset availability.
- Provide specialist electrical input to multi discipline teams as required to meet overall business objectives.
- Supervise and ensure effective execution of work performed by contractors, consultants, and service providers.
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers in applying integrity, reliability, and engineering management systems.
- Support and facilitate project tie-ins and system integration activities within area of responsibility.

Maintain an Issue Register to identify and resolve critical issues, including new technology risks that may impact reliability, availability, or cybersecurity.
- Prepare discipline handover documentation for operations following start up.

Support high risk commissioning activities for large scale and complex projects by:
- Conducting stringent system surveillance
- Tuning and optimizing electrical systems
- Providing advisory support to operations and maintenance teams
