Senior Electrical Engineer
Seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership and electrical engineering expertise during EPC, commissioning, start-up, and operational phases of major industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical engineering expertise and support during design, EPC, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.
- Participate in design reviews, technical evaluations, commissioning, start-up support, failure analysis, troubleshooting, and Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Support or lead electrical equipment integrity and reliability programs to achieve high standards of safety, availability, reliability, and cybersecurity.
- Provide technical guidance during commissioning and start-up to ensure seamless system integration and operational readiness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues during project and operational phases.
- Coordinate and supervise activities performed by contractors, consultants, vendors, and service providers.
- Review and validate electrical equipment specifications and ensure compliance with project and operational requirements.
- Support project tie-ins and system handovers in accordance with established electrical assurance and reliability strategies.
- Maintain and manage technical issue registers, identifying and resolving risks that may impact reliability, availability, or cybersecurity.
- Develop comprehensive handover documentation and knowledge transfer packages to support transition into operations.
- Support high-risk commissioning activities, including system surveillance, tuning, optimization, and advisory support to operations and maintenance teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of experience within the oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or heavy industrial sector.
- Understanding of cybersecurity considerations for critical electrical systems.
