Job Title: Senior Engineer, Completion
Duration: 12-month Contracts
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
This opportunity is based in Jakarta and focuses on deepwater well completions within a technically demanding oil and gas environment. The role is responsible for designing, planning, and executing completion programmes safely and efficiently, with strong involvement across offshore operations, contractor management, well integrity, and cost control. Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or related Engineering
Required Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- 10+ years in senior deepwater completion roles
- Strong experience in sand control, deepwater gas wells, and horizontal wells
- Experience with coil tubing, wireline, and well testing operations
- 5+ years supervising offshore completion operations
- 5+ years of experience in Southeast Asia
Required Skills:
- Strong well completion design capability across materials selection, tubing analysis, completion design, stimulation, and well integrity
- Ability to prepare completion plans and procedures for both office and offshore execution
- Strong knowledge of tubing stress analysis and torque and drag analysis
- Familiarity with completion engineering software
- Ability to manage tenders, schedules, equipment, resources, and key operational deliverables
- Strong monitoring and reporting capability for operational performance, cost, quality, and schedule
- Leadership capability to manage site supervisors and support team performance
- Strong planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commitment to HSSE standards, including risk assessments, site inspections, and contractor safety performance monitoring
