Job Title: Senior Flow Assurance Engineer
Duration: 1-year renewable contract
This opportunity sits within an offshore engineering environment focused on complex flow assurance studies and detailed design activities. The role will contribute across project execution, technical design, simulation and multidisciplinary coordination, with particular emphasis on subsea systems, deepwater projects, and flow assurance analysis using OLGA, PIPESIM and PVTSim. This position offers the chance to influence engineering integrity, technical delivery and project outcomes across a wide range of flow assurance activities.
Required Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
Required Experience:
- 10+ years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant, predominantly performing detail design of offshore facilities
- Prior project experience in SURF and deepwater environments
- Experience supporting engineering execution, multidisciplinary coordination, technical reviews and project deliverables within offshore projects
- Experience performing detailed flow assurance analyses, including steady-state and transient studies
Required Skills:
- Strong flow assurance expertise covering reservoir fluid characterization, thermal and hydraulic analysis, surge analysis, and gas line packing, unpacking and depressurization studies
- Hands-on capability with OLGA, PIPESIM and PVTSim for simulation, troubleshooting and technical reporting
- Detailed knowledge of design techniques, analysis methods, and the application of offshore standards, codes and guidelines
- Ability to prepare and review engineering design basis documents, philosophies, technical specifications, reports and procedures
- Capability to support procurement activities, vendor document reviews, technical query resolution and design verification
- Strong project coordination, communication and technical leadership skills within multidisciplinary engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree such as MSc or PhD
- Registered Professional Engineer status or membership of a professional engineering society
