Job Title: Senior Geologic Modeler
Duration: 1 year (possibility of extension)
Schedule: 5/40
Location: Spring, TX

This opportunity supports field development projects focused on subsurface model development for oil and gas resource assessment, reservoir understanding, and development planning. The role involves integrating geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and engineering datasets to deliver robust static geological models for deepwater clastic and carbonate reservoirs. This position offers the chance to contribute to uncertainty analysis, scenario-based evaluation, and operational decision-making across the project lifecycle using advanced geomodeling and Petrel workflows.

Required Experience/Education:

  • BS/MS degree in Geoscience, Geology or related areas.
  • Experience developing and maintaining static geological models for oil and gas field development projects
  • Experience working with deepwater clastic and carbonate reservoirs
  • Experience supporting resource assessment, reservoir simulation, pressure forecasting, and development planning activities
  • Experience assessing subsurface uncertainties, model sensitivities, and geologic risk drivers impacting reservoir performance and cumulative estimates
  • Experience contributing to technical documentation, peer reviews, assurance activities, and regulatory support

Required Skills:

  • Geologic modeling and Petrel expertise, including framework construction, static model development, property modeling, and calibration to seismic data
  • Seismic and well data interpretation and analysis
  • Workflow development and data integration, including well log, seismic, and core data
  • Understanding of petrophysical and stratigraphic analysis as inputs to geologic modeling
  • Structural and stratigraphic framework building to characterize reservoir geometry, heterogeneity, connectivity, compartmentalization, and complex architecture
  • Seismic conditioning and model calibration to improve subsurface characterization and model predictability
  • Uncertainty analysis, scenario modeling, volumetric assessments, and sensitivity testing
  • Ability to communicate modeling assumptions, results, uncertainties, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional strength in seismic and well data interpretation and analysis
