  • Job Title: Senior Marine Systems Engineer
    Duration: 12 months renewable
    Schedule: Full time, 3 days from the office and 2 days from home

    This opportunity supports complex engineering delivery within the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on marine systems, EPC projects, and shipboard-based systems. The role is suited to professionals with strong technical depth in P&ID, PFD, hydrodynamic calculations, and marine systems engineering studies, contributing to safe, reliable, and cost-effective project outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Select appropriate methods and procedures and optimise design within the discipline scope of specifications.
  • Deliver engineering work in compliance with international codes, company standards, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Plan and complete discipline activities and deliverables within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Define and manage discipline resource requirements for assigned project scope.
  • Ensure the discipline scope of work is delivered in line with contractual and internal project requirements.
  • Capture lessons learned and assess change impacts across project system boundaries.
  • Manage discipline interfaces with relevant third parties, including subcontractors, vendors, classification societies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Support assigned scope as a principal-level technical contributor where required.
  • Required Education & Certifications:
  • Engineer Diploma in a relevant discipline (Required)
  • Required Experience:
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience with marine systems is required.
  • EPC background is required.
  • Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of P&ID and PFD documentation.
  • Experience with hydrodynamic calculations.
  • Technical understanding of energy transportation systems.
  • Experience with shipboard marine systems.
  • Capability in marine systems engineering studies.
  • Knowledge of shipboard-based system maintenance and operation.
  • Ability to deliver reliable, safe, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
  • Strong interface management skills across multidisciplinary and external stakeholders.
