We're partnering with a leading engineering team seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer to support a diverse portfolio of asset improvement and capital works projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex fixed plant infrastructure while collaborating with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.

What You'll Be Doing
- Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs using MicroStation.
- Develop mechanical and piping layouts for a variety of fixed plant assets.
- Contribute to equipment upgrades, modifications, and optimization initiatives.
- Work closely with engineers and project teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. Participate in design reviews and provide technical input throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure designs align with industry standards and project requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in mechanical design within heavy industry, mining, utilities, water, infrastructure, or similar sectors.
- Strong expertise in MicroStation and 2D/3D modelling.
- Background in mechanical and piping design.
- Experience with fixed plant equipment such as pumping stations, tanks, conveyors
- Material handling systems and other mechanical process equipment
