Job Title: Senior Mechanical Equipment Engineer
Duration: Long term project
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid)

This opportunity is focused on designing and engineering safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions within an offshore project environment. The role offers involvement in process packages and complex engineering scope, with responsibility for delivering work in line with specifications, international codes, and industry standards. This position will suit candidates with strong EPC and oil and gas experience who can contribute to technical delivery, interface coordination, and design optimisation.

Required Education:

  • Engineer Diploma in a relevant discipline

Required Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience in a European EPC company environment
  • Offshore project experience
  • Experience working with process packages

Required Skills:

  • Ability to design and engineer solutions to high standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability
  • Strong understanding of international codes, company standards, industry standards, and regulations
  • Capability to select methods and procedures and optimise design within the scope of specifications
  • Ability to proactively plan and complete activities and deliverables within agreed time frame and budget
  • Experience coordinating interfaces across project system boundaries
  • Ability to work with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties in line with contractual and internal requirements
  • Capability to apply lessons learned and assess change impact across engineering scope
  • Ability to lead engineers on assigned scope of work
  • Capability to act as Discipline Lead or Package Engineer for assigned scope

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates already based in the Netherlands or able to mobilise quickly are preferred
